What The People Said About Syria (added)

These articles I site here are from the Global Research E-newsletter and others. So I am going back to November of last year (2011).

Yes I remember the "Arab Spring"  concocted by the media and I was really interested in this. Conspiracy theories were rampant those days and it was very difficult to decipher the facts from the rest of the garbage. So I collected some articles in my Gmail account. This article starts like this:

The name "Arab Spring" is a catch phrase concocted in distant offices in Washington, London, Paris, and Brussels by individuals and groups who, other than having some superficial knowledge of the region, know very little about the Arabs. What is unfolding amongst the Arab peoples is naturally a mixed package. Insurgency is part of this package as is opportunism. Where there is revolution, there is always counter-revolution.

The upheavals in the Arab World are not an Arab "awakening" either; such a term implies that the Arabs have always been sleeping while dictatorship and injustice has been surrounding them. In reality the Arab World, which is part of the broader Turko-Arabo-Iranic World, has been filled with frequent revolts that have been put down by the Arab dictators in coordination with countries like the United States, Britain, and France. It has been the interference of these powers that has always acted as a counter-balance to democracy and it will continue to do so.

Before I read this I have seen some articles about the "21st century US of A".  But them were just books. If I believed all of them I will still be believing that atom is  the smallest particle in universe. The teachers never said, that, this information is only at the present moment as we cannot see inside the atom. Damn here I go off track. Do forgive me. to be more enlightened read the rest here.

In Oct 2011 I read an article about what happened in the past. How US, UK and Europe manhandled Latin America to submission. Latin America became enslaved in policies of US, UK and  Europian countries and you and me know what happened. Countries like Venezuela ultimately got rid of the terrorists like World Bank etc.

The image of Latin America portrayed by the mass media and held by the educated public is a region of frequent coups, periodical revolutions, perpetual military dictatorships, alternating boom and bust economies and an ever-present International Monetary Fund (IMF) dictating economic policy.

In contrast the same opinion makers plus their academic counterparts project images of the United States and the European Union as stable societies, with steady economic growth, incremental expansion of social welfare programs, resolving issues via consensual compromises and practicing sound fiscal policies.

In recent times, the better part of the current decade, these images have taken on the character of ideological dogmas – they no longer correspond to reality. In fact a good argument can be made that the roles have been reversed: the US and EU are in perpetual crises and Latin America, at least most of the major countries, have experienced stability and growth which is the envy (or should be) of Washington pundits and financial commentators. This ‘role reversal’ has been recognized by many US, EU and Asian investors and multinationals, even as respectable journalistic hacks for the Financial Times, NY Times and Wall Street Journal still write about vulnerabilities, imbalances and other weaknesses while grudgingly acknowledging the dynamic growth of the region.

Progressive opinion is equally at fault, focusing on the ‘advances’ of the left regimes but overlooking the underlying dynamics affecting most of the region and thus losing sight of the new points of conflict and contention.

We will proceed to outline the contrasting realities between the crises ridden “North” (US/EU) and the sustained growth of the “South” (South America). The analysis will raise questions of whether the South American experience is transferable to the North and what ‘structural adjustments' would be necessary to pull the US and EU out of the downward spiral of stagnation and violent conflicts which have characterized these regions for the better part of the past decade.
This is a very nicely, unbiasely research gem. please go here to get the best of it. I will add on the rest as I get time.(Cor Blimey said me donkey to the wise man...I managed to get the dxxxxx "Quote" to work salute)

I don't know how much this story has anything to do with the war. But this happened just after the US elections and Obaba went to turkey and addressed the parliament in Turkey. This is reported from Jerusalam, and could be a bit of mud flingimg. Do not forget to see the words like 'allegedly' is thrown in for good measure.

A Syrian national was arrested in connection with a plot to assassinate President Obama during a key speech he is set to deliver tomorrow, a Saudi newspaper claimed today.

The newspaper, al-Watan, reported Turkish security services arrested a Turkish resident of Syrian origins Friday who confessed to a plot to stab the U.S. president with a knife during his speech tomorrow to the U.N.'s Alliance of Civilizations summit in Istanbul. The man allegedly told  interrogators he was working with at least three other people to execute his assassination attempt.

Greenland Ice Cap

It is doom and gloom for all of us according to the scientists. The ice cap in Greenland has melted 97% unprecedently or is it as predicted. The ice cap melts every 150 years, last time was in 1889. The rest is unknown.

For several days this month, Greenland's surface ice cover melted over a larger area than at any time in more than 30 years of satellite observations. Nearly the entire ice cover of Greenland, from its thin, low-lying coastal edges to its two-mile-thick center, experienced some degree of melting at its surface, according to measurements from three independent satellites analyzed by NASA and university scientists.

On average in the summer, about half of the surface of Greenland's ice sheet naturally melts. At high elevations, most of that melt water quickly refreezes in place. Near the coast, some of the melt water is retained by the ice sheet and the rest is lost to the ocean. But this year the extent of ice melting at or near the surface jumped dramatically. According to satellite data, an estimated 97 percent of the ice sheet surface thawed at some point in mid-July.

This I got from Nasa website.  To understand about Greenland and it's ice cap i went to wikipedia. Nice reading for a person who lives on higher ground. But for people who live in the areas near the sea it is a very tense situation. The numbers wiki gives about the amount of water stored in the ice cap is not something to laugh at. The people who laughed at climatic scientists will have to sink their heads in shame. wiki says this. but the data is not upto data, as the information above came out yesterday.

Positioned in the Arctic, the Greenland ice sheet is especially vulnerable to climate change. Arctic climate is now rapidly warming and much larger Arctic shrinkage changes are projected. The Greenland Ice Sheet has experienced record melting in recent years and is likely to contribute substantially to sea level rise as well as to possible changes in ocean circulation in the future. The area of the sheet that experiences melting has increased about 16% from 1979 (when measurements started) to 2002 (most recent data). The area of melting in 2002 broke all previous records. The number of glacial earthquakes at the Helheim Glacier and the northwest Greenland glaciers increased substantially between 1993 and 2005. In 2006, estimated monthly changes in the mass of Greenland's ice sheet suggest that it is melting at a rate of about 239 cubic kilometers (57 cu mi) per year. A more recent study, based on reprocessed and improved data between 2003 and 2008, reports an average trend of 195 cubic kilometers (47 cu mi) per year. These measurements came from the US space agency's GRACE (Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment) satellite, launched in 2002, as reported by BBC. Using data from two ground-observing satellites, ICESAT and ASTER, a study published in Geophysical Research Letters (September 2008) shows that nearly 75 percent of the loss of Greenland's ice can be traced back to small coastal glaciers.

THen I came across an article written some time ago (as I could not find the date of URL: reader's project; find the date please and comment ta), and the article is not very informative but the comment is just ha ha ha. Here it is.

Craig Dillon 4 months ago

The big problem is that we don't really know the processes involved in the melting of such a large ice sheets. If it was just a big block of ice, we could just calculate how long it would take considering different projections of air temperature. But that is NOT the case. Ice sheets are under geologic stresses that make them fracture and flow. Already atmospheric CO2 is at a level not seen since the pliocene, much higher than it was during the Eemian period. Within this century, we will have achieved CO2 levels not seen since the Cretaceous. Greenland will NOT melt in isolation. Antarctica will also melt to some degree.
If we could be confident that it would take 20,000 years to achieve sea level rises of 20 to 80 feet, then we could be complacent about the future. The process would be so slow that cities could easily creep inland as oceans slowly rose.
From what we are seeing now, that does not seem likely. Don't paleoclimate studies show that climate changes have occurred in remarkable short periods? Don't current observations indicate large and growing methane emissions from Arctic Ocean clathrates, which has not happened since the Eocene?

In my lifetime, I have seen Lake Michigan become 10 degrees fahrenheit warmer.
Your optimism is charming, but does not consider significant and profound factors. Considering you are a paleoclimatologist, I can only wonder how much you are receiving from the Cato, Heartland, or other Koch backed institutes to write such a puff piece.

Something in this blogging website is not working. I could not get the bloody "quote" function to work. Since Google took over this lark it has more functions but hilariously But, anyhow, here is the link to the above .
We all believe in what the boffins say. Here is first few paragraphs from, what they said last august.

The entire ice mass of Greenland will disappear from the world map if temperatures rise by as little as 2C, with severe consequences for the rest of the world, a panel of scientists told Congress today.

Greenland shed its largest chunk of ice in nearly half a century last week, and faces an even grimmer future, according to Richard Alley, a geosciences professor at Pennsylvania State University
"Sometime in the next decade we may pass that tipping point which would put us warmer than temperatures that Greenland can survive," Alley told a briefing in Congress, adding that a rise in the range of 2C to 7C would mean the obliteration of Greenland's ice sheet.

The fall-out would be felt thousands of miles away from the Arctic, unleashing a global sea level rise of 23ft (7 metres), Alley warned. Low-lying cities such as New Orleans would vanish.

Bloody awful init? Now read the rest if you want to get more depressed. Here I can give you a website with facts etc.

World Economy

Since 2008 more and more people in the world are fed up of their economic situations. They blame the politicians. But no one blames the bloody banksters. funny huh?

The economic mood is exceedingly glum all around the world. A median of just 27 percent think their national economy is doing well, according to a survey in 21 countries by the Pew Research Center’s Global Attitudes Project. Only in China (83%), Germany (73%), Brazil (65%) and Turkey (57%) do most people report that current national economic conditions are good.

The public mood about the economy has worsened since 2008 in eight of 15 countries for which there is comparable data, while it is essentially unchanged in four others. The Chinese are the lone exception. They have been positive about their economy for the past decade.

Less than a third of Americans (31%) say the U.S. economy is doing well. That figure is up 13 percentage points from 2011. (But it is down 19 points from 2007, the year before the financial crunch began.) A median of just 16% of Europeans surveyed think their economy is performing up to par. That includes just 2% of the Greeks and 6% of the Spanish and Italians. Among Europeans, only the Germans (73%) give their economy a thumbs up. And just 7% of Japanese believe their economy is doing well.
Now if you are like me, you can always read the full report here.

Corporations And Tax US Stylee

I found some remarkable facts about US corporations and how they pay tax. Beleave or not some Corporations just do not pay tax, they get rebates. Ha ha hee hee. Did you know that US corporations pay less tax than the lowest-income Americans?

Some figures below are taken from Think progress conomy website.

Pepco Holdings (–57.6% tax rate), General Electric (–45.3%), DuPont (–3.4%), Verizon (–2.9%), Boeing (–1.8%), Wells Fargo (–1.4%) and Honeywell (–0.7%) These are few of the thirty corporations who got paid rebates totaling nearly 11 million dollars. Their pretax profits were $ 160 million.
– Seventy-eight of the 280 companies paid zero or less in federal income taxes in at least one year from 2008 to 2010…In the years they paid no income tax, these companies earned $156 billion in pretax U.S. profits. But instead of paying $55 billion in income taxes as the 35 percent corporate tax rate seems to require, these companies generated so many excess tax breaks that they reported negative taxes (often receiving outright tax rebate checks from the U.S. Treasury), totaling $21.8 billion. These companies’ “negative tax rates” mean that they made more after taxes than before taxes in those no-tax years.
At the end total figures are corporations paid only 11% tax, and low-income Americans paid 17.5%. If you are reading this, I advice you to become a corporate tax lawyer, and cream it.

And talking about tax in US there is some more dirt.  The combined 2011 federal tax for eight companies, the likes of, IBM , Hewlett-Packard, Intel, Microsoft, Apple and Oracle , Cisco and google. All relied on government and military innovations.

By the way are so called derivatives traded by banks taxed. No. Do you know the amount traded? More than a Quadrillion dollars. Hmmm.

I got these facts from an article in Commom dreams.

Dalai Lama, Mao And Me

As a generation born in 60's I remember my hippy father and mother debating heavily on the subject of China in Tibet. I grew up thinking that Dalai Lama and Tibet to be the down trodden and weak, and supported many petitions, demonstrations against the Chinese gov.

Little did I know that dalai Lama in his younger days was a Communist. Even Wiki page does not say anything about, Dalai Lama being a Maoist Communist. Now Dalai Lama is saying that, "I am a Maoist, and Mao treated me as a son." Need I say more? Is this a new trick by the holy man to become the new friend of China and slowly get independance? High politics is not for the meer mortals. If it is: it would be called another conspiracy theory.

Now how do I know this. Listen to this. And I searched a bit and found out a bit more of this new saga in Chinese politics.

This is from the Asia Times . You might have to mute your sound as there is advetrts which can not be stopped and gets on one's nerves.

The Dalai Lama said he was "attracted by some aspects of Communism," adding that Marxist theory had an "emphasis on equal distribution."

"When I was in China, I learnt Marxist economy theory, which has an emphasis on equal distribution, rather than just profit. Since we human beings created this (economic) problem, we also have the ability to overcome it. In spite of our difficulties, we should not give up our hope...we must keep our self confidence, that is very important," the Dalai Lama said.
Utube video makes further alligations about the two with the CIA mixed in. According to this, Dalai Lama's Maoist views were considered to be not in line with the Tibetan rebels, against Chinese occupation. These rebels we all know were supported by the US via CIA and later dropped when US started the trade agreements with China.

If you are ready for a bit of confusion; read this and you might be, just like me, wondering where politics ends and politcs begins again. Reincarnation or what? There are few links on that page to see what the freedom fighters think about this. CIA connections. Ahhh! that's another conspiracy theory.

Yo North Americans, Do You Want To Get Depressed

Yeah I read this article and thought. Huh huh I am glad I am not in US. But you my delightful reader of this might like it. And please do forgive me, I said it might depress you. Well it starts like this:

Ever since the beginning of the financial crisis and Quantitative Easing, the question has been before us: How can the Federal Reserve maintain zero interest rates for banks and negative real interest rates for savers and bond holders when the US government is adding $1.5 trillion to the national debt every year via its budget deficits? Not long ago the Fed announced that it was going to continue this policy for another 2 or 3 years. Indeed, the Fed is locked into the policy. Without the artificially low interest rates, the debt service on the national debt would be so large that it would raise questions about the US Treasury’s credit rating and the viability of the dollar, and the trillions of dollars in Interest Rate Swaps and other derivatives would come unglued.
Do you really want to read it huh?  OK here is the link.

Is This Majority's Thinking In US?

“Don't waste any more time or energy on the presidential election than it takes to get to your polling station and pull a lever for a third-party candidate-—just enough to register your obstruction and defiance—and then get back out onto the street. That is where the question of real power is being decided.” Chris Hedges, May 2012

As I am not very first hand in the life of US I have to read second hand thoughts, and I likes 'em. Here is a bucketload of them, check it out if you dare!

Palestinian "Prisoners"

Funny things happen over the world when everyone is involved in other things like Lybia, Syria etc. There are 4600 prisoners in Israel. Most or all of them are held under a 'law' of the horrible Zionist comparable to Germany or any others many years ago. Held without trial. Well US is doing it and why the hell can't they huh? So according to AI etc etc these prisoners are not getting enough medicle attention by Israel. 1,600 according to Israel or 2,500 according to Palestinisns, have gone on hunger strike.

Most notable of them are Thaer Halahleh and Bilal Diab. They are being held under “administrative detention,” a policy that can keep some Palestinian prisoners in custody for months — even years — without charges. No one knows whether these two has been involved in any killings, but they belong to a 'dreaded' terror group called Islamic Jihad.

This is whats happening now, stripped from Prisoner Support etc etc website.

Ramallah, 10 May 2012 – Addameer lawyer Mona Neddaf visited four hunger strikers in Ramleh prison medical clinic today, including Thaer Halahleh, now on his 73rd day of hunger strike.

According to Ms. Neddaf, Thaer’s condition continues to deteriorate. The prison doctor has said to Thaer that he could die at any moment. Thaer has lost significant weight, and now weighs 55 kg. He has exceedingly low blood pressure and his temperature is fluctuating at dangerous levels. In addition to vomiting blood, Thaer is also bleeding from his gums and lips. The prison doctor also told him that he now has an infection in part of his body. Thaer is drinking water, but not taking any vitamins or minerals. Though he is very weak, Ms. Neddaf reported that mentally he is still strong. Thaer was supposed to receive a visit from his family today, but the Israeli Prison Service (IPS) cancelled the visit yesterday.

The health of Mohammad Taj, now on his 54th day of hunger strike, is also at a dangerous level. In addition, Jaafar Azzedine, on his 50th day of hunger strike, reported that he had stopped drinking water for a short period but has started to drink again, with minerals and vitamins. Nidal Shehadeh, who began his hunger strike on 17 April as part of the mass hunger strike, was moved back from a public hospital to Ramleh prison two days prior. He is on hunger strike in protest of receiving inadequate medical treatment while in prison.

Ms. Neddaf noted that all the prisoners on hunger strike in Ramleh prison are in isolated rooms. She further reported that they continue to be threatened by the IPS. Even at this stage of hunger strike, they have been told that if they do not stand for the “daily count”, they will not be permitted lawyer visits.

Addameer fears for the lives of Thaer, Bilal Diab, also on his 73rd day of hunger strike, Hassan Safadi, who is now on his 67th day of hunger strike, Omar Abu Shalal, who is now on his 65th day of hunger strike, and all the other prisoners on hunger strike whose critical conditions are being blatantly disregarded by Israel and the prison authorities. Addameer reiterates its call for immediate action on behalf of the hunger strikers.

My question is there are 4600 prisoners and why there are only 1600/2500 taking part. If I am a Palestinian person. I will try to forget about my differences with other Pal people and go against the common Zionist enemy. I have spoken via email to a few Pal people and they all have different views on the subject of oppression. And they hate other Pal people of other sects. Almighty UK has been good at dividing people in that area and it is still happening.

19th May; At last the IPS and the Palestinian prisoners have met, come to an agreement. Yes the hnger strike has ended. This is from the Prisoner Support Webpage.

Ramallah, 15 May 2012 – After nearly a full month of fasting, around 2,000 Palestinian political prisoners ended last night their mass hunger strike upon reaching an agreement with the Israeli Prison Service (IPS) to attain certain core demands. Addameer lauds these achievements of the prisoners’ movement and can only hope that Israel will implement any policy changes in good faith. Addameer especially commends those individuals who engaged in open hunger strike for over two months, displaying remarkable steadfastness in the struggle for their most basic rights.

The demands raised in the collective hunger strike, which was launched on 17 April, included an end to the IPS’ abusive use of isolation for “security” reasons, which currently affects 19 prisoners, some of whom have spent 10 years in isolation, and a repeal of a series of punitive measures taken against Palestinian prisoners following the capture of Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit, including the denial of family visits for all Gaza prisoners since 2007 and denial of access to university education since June 2011. Prisoners also called for an end to Israel’s practice of detaining Palestinians without charge or trial in administrative detention. Eight prisoners, including five administrative detainees, had already begun their hunger strikes as early as the end of February.

The details of the agreement signed last night by the prisoners’ committee representing the hunger strikers was recounted today to Addameer lawyer Fares Ziad in his visit to Ahed Abu Gholmeh, who is a member of the committee, and to Addameer lawyer Mahmoud Hassan during his visit to Ahmad Sa’adat in Ramleh prison medical clinic, who conveyed what he was told last night when members of the committee came to Ramleh to announce the end of the hunger strike.
According to Ahed Abu Gholmeh, the nine members of the hunger strike committee met yesterday with a committee consisting of IPS officials and Israeli intelligence officers and determined the stipulations of their agreement. The written agreement contained five main provisions: the prisoners would end their hunger strike following the signing of the agreement; there will be an end to the use of long-term isolation of prisoners for “security” reasons, and the 19 prisoners will be moved out of isolation within 72 hours; family visits for first degree relatives to prisoners from the Gaza Strip and for families from the West Bank who have been denied visits based on vague “security reasons” will be reinstated within one month; the Israeli intelligence agency guarantees that there will be a committee formed to facilitate meetings between the IPS and prisoners in order to improve their daily conditions; there will be no new administrative detention orders or renewals of administrative detention orders for the 308 Palestinians currently in administrative detention, unless the secret files, upon which administrative detention is based, contain “very serious” information.
For the five administrative detainees on protracted hunger strikes, including Bilal Diab and Thaer Halahleh, who engaged in hunger strike for a miraculous 77 days, their administrative detention orders will not be renewed and they will be released upon the expiration of their current orders. These five have been transferred to public hospitals to receive adequate healthcare during their fragile recovery periods. In regards to Israel’s practice of administrative detention as a whole, Ahmad Sa’adat further noted that the agreement includes limitations to its widespread use in general. Addameer is concerned that these provisions of the agreement will not explicitly solve Israel’s lenient and problematic application of administrative detention, which as it stands is in stark violation of international law.

Addameer has observed that Israel has consistently failed to respect the agreements it executes with Palestinians regarding prisoners’ issues. For this reason, it will be essential for all supporters of Palestinian political prisoners to actively monitor the events of the next few months to ensure that this agreement is fully implemented. As a human rights organization committed to the international standards of the rights of prisoners, Addameer will also continue to monitor closely the conditions inside Israeli prisons in order to assure that conditions meet compliance with international human rights and humanitarian law.
On the day commemorating 64 years since the Palestinian Nakba, it is regrettable that it has taken the near-starvation of Palestinian political prisoners en masse to call attention to their plight; it is therefore imperative to take this opportunity to not only applaud their achievements but also to push forward lobbying efforts on their behalf and demand a just and permanent resolution for their cause. Addameer extends its utmost gratitude to the dedicated activists and institutions, including members of civil society and the diplomatic community, who have supported the Palestinian prisoners in their campaign for dignity.
I do hope the Palestinians forget there own damned differences and unite to get freedom for themselves. Otherwise.............. we don't want to go there do we.

Disinformation On Every Front‏

This is a informative article by Paul Roberts in the Global Research website.
Some readers have come to the erroneous conclusion that the Matrix consists of Republican Party disinformation as if there is no disinformation from the left. Others think that propaganda is the business of Obama and the Democrats. In fact, propaganda from the right, the left and the middle are all part of the disinformation fed to americans.
Only matrix I knew  is the fantastic film of the same name. I have watched all the films few times and enjoyed. But this Matrix is different. Read this for a bit of education into the Governments in the West, huh "democratic".

The people in charge of the Matrix represent the most powerful and intelligenthumans on earth. When gifted children appear in the public schools of the world, they are courted with scholarships, money and eventually memberships into secret societies. They will be introduced to very persuasive intellectuals, who willconvince these young gifted people that it is their place and duty to be a part of the elite who rule the world’s population because the rest of the world’spopulation is too stupid to make decisions for themselves (their comment - notmine). When the “New World Order” is officially and openly in control, only the extremely intelligent will be allowed to propagate.
So that is what the 1% super richblaggers have been doing for the last few hundred years. I know the system in UK is a facade, but there is not much facts available in the net. And then the anonymous authour says:

THE motive of our Founding Fathers was totally self-centered. It was their personal greed that inspired them to accept the task of writing the Constitution of the United States and not patriotism. In actuality, the United States is not a landor a place: ‘It is a corporation, a legal fiction that existed well before theRevolutionary War.’ [See: Republica v. Sween, 1 Dallas 43 and 28 U. S. C. 3002(15)].The Constitution of the United States was written in secret by the Founding Fathers and was never presented to the Colonists for a vote. Surely, any document as important as this demanded the approval of the people it governed!Well, it wasn’t presented for a vote because the Constitution wasn't created for"We the People;" it was created  by  and   for  the    Founding Fathers, their family, heirs and their posterity.

The Constitution is a business plan and any referencecontained within it that appears to be the safeguard of a ‘Right’ is there because none of the Founding Fathers trusted  each  other. The safeguards  were intended  to prevent any one or group of them from cutting out the others, proving that “There’s no honor among thieves.” Americans are not unlike  all other humans who inhabit the earth. All human beings possess malleable minds, which are minds that can be shaped and controlled; and when government shapes and controls a mind, it’s called “brainwashing.” Brainwashing causes the subject to become ‘functionally illiterate.’

In America, our functional ignorance excels in the areas of history, government  and  law, which  really  are one  and  the  same. Ninety-eight   percent of the officials in public office are lawyers and these so-called representatives set policy and create the laws that govern  this society. Their use of  Greek and Latin terms in law and the habit of changing definitions and usage of common words is intentional. The intent is to confound and confuse the general public and to hide the treason they are implementing and so that members of the public are forced (or decide) to hire a lawyer out of frustration, rather than try to represent themselves in  our ‘fictional courts of law.’ As you read on I’ll explain to you why and how, our courts and laws are fictional.
This is another problem I have encountered. The religious books were written in Greek and Latin, so a select few could understand them. The others like you and me had to listen to these 'educated' bofins to believe in the rel;igion. Never mind what religion it is they are the same. Similar tactics are used in education. Take Mathematics for example, you get so much jargon, that by the time you have managed the first few yaers in school, you want to get the hell out of the place. I bin there m8.

One thing the Founding Fathers did not know, was that all of the King’s lands and all future acquisitions such as the AMERICAS, had been given and pledged by King John to Pope Innocent III and the Holy Roman Church by the Treaty of 1213.
O no. US is owned by the Vatican and rented out to the government of US, which is Federal Corporation. check this and you can see what I am reffering to. There is no escape we all are still SLAVES. Blimey bossman.

In the true History of America, neither side WON the Revolutionary War. At first, the appearance of English troops in the Colonies was simply a show of force by King George, intended to intimidate the Colonists and force them to pay him taxes. Factually, back in England, English soldiers refused to take up arms against the Colonists because they were English citizens and relatives.
Mr. Mayer Amschel Bauer, founder of the Rothschild Banking Empire, by this time owned the King. Mr. Bauer had extended unlimited credit to the King and arranged contracts with him, which permitted the Rothschild Tax Collectors to represent and collect the King’s tax from the King’s subjects. [This is the origin of the concept behind the establishment of the IRS]. It was Bauer who suggested to King George that he enforce a tax against the Colonists in the New World, since the tax being collected in England was barely enough to pay the interest on the King’s loans. When English soldiers refused to fight, Mr. Bauer negotiated a contract with unemployed Russian/Germanic soldiers to fight for King George at acost of 50¢ a day. Bauer then informed King George that he had hired these soldiers in the King’s name, but at a cost of $1.00 a day!
Mr Bauer is a fine example of bankers, which we lack today. 100% markup huh? Now then! Now then! we have seen facts to make the US govenment as a Corporate. Now next bit is unbelievable.

Documented proof that the Constitution was not for us can be found at Padelford,Fay & Co. v. The Mayor and Aldermen of the City of Savannah, [14 Georgia 438,520]. This was a Court case wherein the Plaintiffs sued the City of Savannah forviolating what they believed were their constitutionally-protected rights. The decision of the Judge says it all:
"No private p erson has a right to complain, by suit in Court, on the ground of a breach of the Constitution, theConstitution, it is true, is a compact but he [the private person] is not a party toit!" [Emphasis added]
The United States Constitution was converted into a Trust and the legal definition of a Trust is:
“A legal obligation with respect to property given by one person(donor), to another (trustee), to the advantage of a beneficiary (Americans).”
The property in this Trust includes all land, your personal possessions that you believe you own and your physical body. The donor of the Trust is the King of England and the Holy Roman Church. The Trustees are all federal and state public officials, which means that they truly are Agents of a foreign power: the King and the Vatican. The reason the Constitution was converted into a Trust is because, as a non-trust business plan, The Constitution completely bound the hands of our government officials. By their converting it into a Trust, our public officials were then free to make any changes they desired to this government without their constituents’ knowledge. The rules of a Trust are secret and no trustee can be compelled to divulge those rules; and the rules can be changed by the trustees without noticeto the beneficiary.

So US is governed by agents of living outsiders called the Einglish Royals and the Vatican. Now I can understand why this and why that in a more thinking of a slave. well go ahead and read this

google Take Over

I have been writing this blog for a while now. I seen it been taken over by google. (no capitol G)! Why you might ask. Because I am fed up with the boffins in google asking me to provide them with my phone number, everytime I log in. I do not want them to have my number. It is bloody privete matey.

Is it polite to request someone's phone number? I feel the buggers are not polite at all. You refuse to give your number, and they put another little window asking you to verify it. It is not a mistake, for someone to click the "skip this" is it. If it is a mistake put that link not just underneath but somewhere different. Why do they ask for my number. Take my dog for a long walk huh? I hate you google. Untill you do something about this I am going off your search engine. Little step for me but a giant step for the webbykind.

Government and police to monitor all communications and Internet activities of all UK citizens

The government has confirmed that they intend to introduce legislation which will enable them to monitor the telephone calls, e-mails, texts and Internet useage of everyone in the UK. Internet service providers (ISP) will be required to pass information on to the governments monitoring service, GCHQ and to do so in real time. TheOpinionSite.org can also report that the police and other ‘law enforcement agencies’ will not require a warrant to discover with whom you have been communicating, for how long, how often and by what means. Nor will they need a warrant to investigate which websites you have been visiting and how often you visit them.

Read all about it extra extra! Ead all about it. Extra extra!

We in UK are trying to abolish Po-lice state democracies which we think that exists in  other parts of the  world.  The Conservatives , started the Criminal Justice Bill, in 1994. But it did restrict all the alternative life styles. The Squatters, party goers, gypsies etc. Now the so called Liberals are trying to see what we right in our emails. Damn it! I am not a terrorist. I am not a drug dealer or a criminal. But some one reading my private letter to a mate is....ahhhh not quite right. I will have to go back to writing letters. The bleeding power hungry bigots in the parliament are trying to drive us back to the middle ages.

Babies And Feeding

About ten years ago a friends visited me with their little son. Few weeks old. they were at my place for a quite a few hours. I noticed that the mother was feeding the little one very regular. Too regular I thought? well every 15 minutes in goes the bottle in the little mouth and burp burp, cleaned undies and sleep. I did not say a word as I have no kids and no experience except looking after babies once they are toddlers.

About eight years later I bumped into the family in a festival and got introduced to the now eight year old lad. Boy! is he bouncy or what? Too bouncy I thought , my recollections going back. Now here is what the boffins say about the feeding lark.

Babies who are fed whenever they want may later perform better in school than those who were fed on a schedule, new research suggests.

The finding is based on the results of intelligence tests and school-based standardized tests carried out between the ages of five and 14. The IQ scores of eight-year-old children who had been demand-fed as babies were four to five points higher than the scores of schedule-fed children, the study found. IQ tests are a measure of intelligence designed to express the difference between a person’s intelligence and the average intelligence for their age group, roughly as a percentage.

The findings are published in the European Journal of Public Health.

The study was carried out by researchers at the Institute for Social and Economic Research at the University of Essex, U.K., and at the University of Oxford. But the researchers urged caution in interpreting the findings.
Now I have to admit that these findings are not conclusive. They have to get a better spectrum of population. for a good understanding of feeding babies there are lots of fine ideas, but you can always try this as a start, because there are lots of comments at the end.

Justice US Style

Claimed to be the most democratic country in the world and trying to democrstise the other countries who are deemed by US as undemocratic (hmmm...mostly arab/islamic countries)

There are US citizens who are not happy with their government passing ridiculus laws and not even looking at a president's criminal acts and acts against human rights.

I read a blog by David Swanson about Bush/Cheyney era of governance. It is very educational to a point and. as a person who is against war and cruelty to others, I always thought US and UK citizens will bring cases against Bush and Blair to bring them to justice. I myself has written to few UK MPs who were likely to be against Blair's decision to go to war. I was disappointed, when few of them had me entertained for a few months with an email saying they recieved the letter, and as they never replied. I can feel the frustration of D Swanson about the same matter in US.

Here is the start of the blog, but do go to his blog to read the rest.

Elizabeth Holtzman knows something about struggles for justice in the U.S. government. She was a member of Congress and of the House Judiciary Committee that voted for articles of impeachment against President Richard Nixon in 1973. She proposed the bill that in 1973 required that "state secrets" claims be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. She co-authored the special prosecutor law that was allowed to lapse, just in time for the George W. Bush crime wave, after Kenneth Starr made such a mockery of it during the Whitewater-cum-Lewinsky scandals. She was there for the creation of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) in 1978. She has served on the Nazi War Crimes and Japanese Imperial Government Records Interagency Working Group, bringing long-escaped war criminals to justice. And she was an outspoken advocate for impeaching George W. Bush.

Holtzman's new book, coauthored with Cynthia Cooper, is called "Cheating Justice: How Bush and Cheney Attacked the Rule of Law and Plotted to Avoid Prosecution -- and What We Can Do About It." Holtzman begins by recalling how widespread and mainstream was the speculation at the end of the Bush nightmare that Bush would pardon himself and his underlings. The debate was over exactly how he would do it. And then he didn't do it at all.
Talking about justice in US where around 20% of the people are in prisons, I came across another of D Swansons blogs which made me get interested and I hope you too. Well it is about a new law passed while the US citizens were partying on NewYears Eve. It is quite a controvercial law. Chstian Post did an article thus. There were protestors from the "Occupy the Wallstreet", doing a protest in the Grand Central Station. Read all about it here.

Under the new law, the president of the United States can designate any individual, whether an American citizen, resident alien, or citizen of any other country, to be arrested and detained for life by the US military. The law defines a “covered person” in the following terms: “A person who was a part of or substantially supported al-Qaeda, the Taliban, or associated forces that are engaged in hostilities against the United States or its coalition partners, including any person who has committed a belligerent act or has directly supported such hostilities in aid of such enemy forces.”

No more demostration, as that itself is under the openess of the said law can be intrpreted by the military or po- lice, and arrest the demonstrators as terrorists. Not even peacful ones. Grrrr I can here someone.

Ah back from the ranting of moi, here is the first two paras of the said article by Mr Swanson

Good things do come out of the Virginia state legislature. That normally reprehensible body has just stood up to the federal outrage that has come to be known as the NDAA. The letters stand for the National Defense Authorization Act, but at issue here is not the bulk of that bill. Virginia's state government has no objection to dumping our grandchildren's unearned pay into the pockets of war profiteers while our schools lack funding. At issue is the presidential power to lock people up without a trial, which was slipped into the latest military funding bill late last year and signed into law by President Barack Obama on New Year's Eve. In fact, Virginia's legislature does not object to that abuse except in one particular circumstance, namely when the victim of it is a U.S. citizen. But in that circumstance, Virginia says Hell No.

Locally in Charlottesville, we rallied at Republican Congressman Robert Hurt's office.

Here is the rest.

Will Iran Conflit Go Bad In EU?

Further to my blog I gone fishing around the news world for more info.

Now I have another point of view about the EU countries who are on the verge of economic collapse. US and EU are putting pressure on Iran with economic sanctions. But if Iran cuts of oil to Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece and Ireland there will be a problem. Well If you are interested in this please go to this article in Centre for reserch in Globalization. Hi ho otherwise keep on reading and I will write the gist of it in my own way.

Ok first of all Iran is, unlike Zionist Israel and some others, a member of the International Atomic Energy Agency and a signatory to the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), it has the right to acquire and develop nuclear technology for peaceful purposes. There is a question of how pure the uranium has to be, when required for peaceful purposes.

If you want to buy some 1000 µg/mL Uranium in 2% HNO3 18 month expiry date there are online traders to buy it Goto . This is no joke it is only $ 36 for 50 ml.

Exclusive:
American neocons have moved the United States closer to war with Iran via a subtle change in the “red line” phrasing, inserting the word “capability” after the usual threats to take out an Iranian “nuclear weapon.” Now, Sen. Joe Lieberman is making the shift official, reports Robert Parry. Sen. Joe Lieberman is leading a group of nearly one-third of the U.S. Senate urging that the red line on war with Iran be shifted from building a nuclear weapon to the vague notion of Iran having the “capability” to build one. The neoconservative senator from Connecticut has introduced a “Sense of the Senate” resolution that would put the body on record as rejecting a situation that arguably already exists, in which Iran has the know-how to build a bomb even if it has no intention to do so.

The resolution tracks with the positions of hardline Israeli leaders, such as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and undercuts the position of President Barack Obama, whose administration has been exploring ways to negotiate an agreement with Iran, which insists that its nuclear program is for peaceful purposes only..........

.........A Neocon Comeback

Since the grim writing was on the wall about the Iraq outcome, American neocons have been looking for new ways to get their imperial agenda back on track, with Iran’s nuclear program just the latest opportunity.

So, Iranian efforts to negotiate confidence-building initiatives regarding its nuclear program, such as agreeing to a Turkish-Brazilian plan in 2010 to trade about half of Iran’s low-enriched uranium for radioactive isotopes needed for medical research, have been blocked by neocons in Congress and their allies in the Obama administration, with the support of key U.S. media outlets, like the Washington Post and New York Times.

The latest shift toward forcing a new war has centered on the insertion of the word “capability” after the words “nuclear weapons.” The Obama administration has indicated that it would consider an Iranian decision to build a nuclear bomb a “red line,” suggesting the possibility of a military strike at that point.

However, that threat isn’t making the neocons happy because the U.S. intelligence community is standing by its 2007 conclusion that Iran halted work on a nuclear bomb in 2003 and hasn’t resumed that effort. Israeli intelligence apparently has reached the same judgment. Both U.S. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta and Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak have referenced this state-of-play in the intelligence assessments in recent public remarks, as ex-CIA analyst Ray McGovern has reported.

I myself always believed that almost all the developed countries have a very strong Zionist lobby . Most of our law makers in UK have gone to Israel on free rides and been bent towards the Zionist way. Specially Foreign Secretary W Hague (little Hitler) who wants to go, wage war and subjugate various Middle Eastern counntries to UK industries.

Exclusive:
Recent comments by U.S and Israeli military leaders indicate that the intelligence services of the two countries agree that Iran has not decided to build a nuclear bomb, a crack in the Western narrative that the U.S. press corps won’t accept, as ex-CIA analyst Ray McGovern explains
So now the goal post has been moved.

According to a BBC article about Iranian time lines; until  June 2001, accusations against Iran was Terrorism, but in Sep 2001 it changed to aquiring nuclear weapons from Russia and China. Yes most probably after 11 of the 9 fiasco in US.

By sep 2002 Russia starts building a nuclear power station at Bushehr This causes almighty Iranbashing in US.

Dec 2002 US accuses Iran of building nuclear facilities in Natanz and Arak, which was inspected by IAEA  in Feb-May 2003, and declared to be plants to provide fuel for future power plants.

By Dec 2003 Iran agrees to suspend its nuclear fuel production but IAEA has reported that Iran has produced Plutonium but admits they are not interested in making weapons. US do not trust either IAEA or Iran.

By March 2004 the pressure is on with sanctions.

Sep 2004 Iran starts enriching Uranium.

Jan 2005 Euro big 3 wants to talk trade with Iran but insists that Iran should permaanantly stop uranium enrichment.

June 2005 Mahmoud Ahmadinejad becomes president of Iran.

2005 July - The US concludes that President Ahmadinejad was a leader of the group behind the 1979 hostage crisis at its embassy in Tehran, but says it is unsure whether he took an active part in taking Americans prisoner.

2005 August-September - Tehran says it has resumed uranium conversion at its Isfahan plant and insists the programme is for peaceful purposes. The IAEA finds Iran in violation of the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.

April 2006 Iran announces it has successfully enriched uranium - prompting Ms Rice to demand "strong steps" by the UN. An IAEA report concludes Iran has not complied with a Security Council demand that it suspend uranium enrichment.

Jan 2007 Mr Bush the Stupid goes on about that Iran is sending Al Quaeda to Iraq without knowing that Iran is Shia and Al Quaeda is Sunni. Ahem.

Oct 2007 Gen Ptreas calls H K Qomi a member of the Iran's elite Revolutionary Guards. Hmmm pot calling..... ga ga ggoo. US steps up sanctions.

Dec 2007 Us intelligence (still got some) says Iran's nuclear program is peaceful, but Bush do not agree.

Well that is the most important bits. there were lots more in the article but hmmm its tireing and boring.

So now they are going to have a chat, Iran and the big 5 +1 very soon and IAEA is going in for further issues to be ratified and B Netanyahu (the top terrorist) is gonna give a speech nay a lecture, at the AIPAC. Lets see what all this means.

OK US a meer weekling after the rule of Bush the Stupid, is going around talking to Asian countries to support the sanctions. But Asian big boys India and China, not forgeting Russia which really is Asian, are telling US go away. Even Israel exploded some of their own bombs in places like India, on their own people to get Asia to agree. Na da. On top of that South Korea and Japan has refused to agree. Now as the dollar is getting weaker the oil prices will rise. Put the oil embargo on 5 Euro countries by Iran will make it go higher. The Asamaidjan must be praising the lord huh?

Bangladeshi Conundrum

A lady living in Bangladeshi put a comment on my blog. It was not a comment but a link to her own blog. This must be another way to attract others to your blog. Hmmm No not for me. So my interest turned to the nation of Bangladeshi.

In 1980's Us Uk etc etc started a new gimmick called offshoring. Very well planned action. Yes the company who takes their factories to places where lobour is cheap statred making big profits. So they went to Bangladeshi.

In the latter part of the 80s or early part of the 90s, a large retailer (don't remember which one) thought it would be a good idea to bring an employee of a factory in Bangladesh to America to see how the clothing the factory was producing was being marketed to Americans. So a Bengali woman was selected to represent her factory and brought to America. This idea didn't work out well. The woman not only saw how the products were being marketed but how much they cost and she was infuriated. She knew what she and her coworkers were being paid, about two percent of the price of the garments. She did not remain silent and was quickly sent back to Bangladesh. Here is the gist of her story:

She said she and her coworkers were not financially better off after being hired by the factory. Yes, the wages were better than those that could have been earned before, but they weren't much benefit. Why? Because when the paychecks began to arrive, the local landlords and vendors increased prices on everything, so just as before, all of their incomes went to pay for basic necessities. The landlords and vendors got the money; the workers were not better off, and those in the community who were not employed by the apparel factory were decidedly worse off. It fact, it quickly became apparent that the workers were working for nothing. They did the work; the landlords and vendors got the pay. But, of course, the country's GNP was better, which is all that matters to economists who still claim that Bangladesh's economy is improving.

And although Americans were able to buy the apparel more cheaply than they could have before the manufacturing was offshored, the American apparel workers who lost their jobs are decidedly not better off.

Mahdi al-Harati of Tripoli Brigade

On 11 October 2011, al-Harati resigned as deputy head of the Tripoli Military Council, amid tensions over security on the capital. According to Irish Times, while al-Harati's associates in Tripoli assure that the resignation was for "personal reasons", a senior NTC official quoted by CNN said that the resignation was because "differences with the National Transitional Council on the planning of the security of Tripoli". Fathi al-Wersali, member of the Tripoli Military Council, stated that al-Harati would continue as commander of the Tripoli brigade

Claims Wikipedia about Mahdi al-Harati. Hmmm what the hell is he doing in Turkey? Is he helping the free Syria people?

What is Pensions Reform Agenda

Arizona's Police Pensions lost $ 1.8 Billion without any accountability. There is a big move to reform the pentions in Arizona.

Now in Britain there was a Pensions Reform Act which got the OK from the Queen in december last year. Now I do not understand this even though I went to a public meeting with the that time Home Minister D Blunkett. It was a facade which can be seen through by any child. Ok we were all given certain ideas for pention reforms. There were I think 5. We had to vote which one's are better than others. I asked the boffin there "What if  have a different suggestion?".  He informed me, "Write to the Home Office, we cannot discuss them here now!". Bloody good that is. So I voted for the worst one. Take that you ignorant piece of Sxxxte.

My question is was there any bad accounting in UK pension funds which was discovered in 2006 or so when everything started going tits up, and they are not telling us.

Will the Greece Default bankcrupt Wall Street?

Comments well come!

I have been following the Greek economic status. I thought they might default by January and even took a bet with a mate and lost. Damn!

Now it seems to be Ok dokay. Question is how long will it last. The Policy makers and the government have been divided. People are divided. My experience with Greek people made me believe that they are not paying their taxes properly. Not verified with facts.

Recent articles suggests that, with some facts, by March they will default. Do you think I can take a bet go "double or quits" with my friend. I found this in an article in Yorkshire Post

Speaking to the Yorkshire Post during a visit to Leeds, Dr Stelzer said: “It’s only a matter of time before they (Greece) go bankrupt. They are bankrupt now, it’s only a question of how you recognise it and what you call it.

“Certainly they will default...maybe as early as March. If I were them I’d get out (of the euro). They would be in better shape if they had their own currency.”

He added: “If they (Greece) leave the euro, the euro would probably strengthen because it wouldn’t have this drag any more.”
And further in my reading I came across this term "Derivatives", and found out that the bet I took with my friend can be taken as a derivative. I am a financier ha ha.

So one asks what the heck this got to do with Greece huh? In a bit.

Now read this from:

According to the Comptroller of the Currency, nearly 95% of the banking industry’s total exposure to derivatives contracts is held by the nation’s five largest banks: JPMorgan Chase, Citigroup, Bank of America, HSBC, and Goldman Sachs. The CDS market is unregulated, and there is no requirement that the “insurer” actually have the funds to pay up. CDS are more like bets, and a massive loss at the casino could bring the house down.

I, mistyfied about all this wanted to find out more, and found an organisation called the International swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA), which has as it's members major banks and hedge funds including above mentioned US banks. So one of the duties of this organisation is to determine whether a 'certain event' is actually a default. If a 'credit event' is at a default the CDS's come into play. So the very same banks who decide this are the same banks who own them. Bloody nice way to do one's business.

Now the interesting bit. There was a bank called MF Global who lent money to Greece and took CDS's with major banks in US. So when the ISDA declared that Greece is not at a default and made to take a 'hair cut' of 50 % , MF Global could not play the CDS's and went bankcrupt. So the very same banks who insure the lender, and take premiums, decide whether to pay or not. Greece went down with 50%, and ISDA decided it is not a default. What percentage makes it a default? No one can tell us. Hope Greece defauls and bring these blood suckers down!

article: and article helped me to reserch this. THere may be errors. If you find them please do comment.

What's Up In Lybia Now

"We went We saw We Killed" Was it H Clinton's own words?

Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International and Doctors Without Borders (Medecins Sans Frontieres), all admit to one thing called Torture. We do not have precise figures as the main media block these. But recently:

The New York Times, page 4, January 27th reports: “Doctors Without Borders said Thursday that it would suspend its operations in detention centers in Misurata, saying some of the 115 detainees it has treated for torture-related injuries since August have been returned repeatedly with more wounds. ‘Patients were brought to us in the middle of interrogation for medical care, in order to make them fit for further interrogation,’ said Christopher Stokes, the group’s general director, in a statement. ‘This is unacceptable. Our role is to provide medical care to war casualties and sick detainees, not to repeatedly treat the same patients between torture session.’” “Human Rights Watch documented ‘ongoing torture’ in Libyan detention centers in the past six months, said Sidney Kwiran, an investigator for the group. ‘Torture is used to force confessions or for punishment.’” “Fighters from Misurata have continued to attack, detain, torture and in some cases kill people from the town, even after they fled to other parts of the country, refugees and activists said. Gheit Abubakr, 46, a Tawerghan at the Tripoli camp, carried his brother’s neatly folded death certificate in the pocket of his overcoat, along with a dozen photographs of his mutilated corpse....’They beat him to death, but he didn’t do anything, he was not in the military and did not have a gun. He was a civilian.’”
And

Reuters: “In Assabia...residents not involved in the fighting were kidnapped and tortured, one to death, by Gharyan fighters....Ibrahim Mohammed, 23 stated... ‘During my interrogations my ankles were crushed in metal workshop clamps, and fingers and toes smashed with metal bars. I saw our main military commander lying on the floor in a pool of blood. He was barely breathing and they had tied a metal pole to his arms and legs and were giving him electric shocks.’ Ibrahim said. ‘Ezzedine-al-Ghool was tortured to death. His wife had given birth to a son the day before.’”
February 2, 2012, Reuters: “A Libyan diplomat who served as Ambassador to France for Moamar Ghaddafi died from torture within a day of being detained by a militia from Zintan, Human Rights Watch said in a statement Friday... photos of Brebesh’s body show welts, cuts, and the apparent removal of toenails. Brebesh, 62 served in the Libyan Embassy to France from 2004-2008, first as cultural attaché, then as acting ambassador...’These abusive militias will keep torturing people until they are held to account’...said Sarah Leah Whitson, Middle East and North Africa director at Human Rights Watch.”

On August 21, 2011, The New York Times reported: “Coordination between NATO and the rebels, and among the loosely organized rebel groups had become more sophisticated in lethal in recent weeks, even though NATO’s mandate had been merely to protect civilians, not to take sides in the conflict....At the same time, Britain, France and other nations deployed special forces on the ground inside Libya to help train and arm the rebels” in violation of the Security Council Resolution 1973, which prohibited NATO troops on the ground.

Cockroache

Cockroaches, like all insects, breathe through a system of tubes called tracheae. The tracheae of insects are attached to the spiracles, excluding the head. Thus cockroaches, like all insects, are not dependent on the mouth and windpipe to breathe. The valves open when the CO2 level in the insect rises to a high level; then the CO2 diffuses out of the tracheae to the outside and fresh O2 diffuses in. Unlike in vertebrates that depend on blood for transporting O2 and CO2, the tracheal system brings the air directly to cells, the tracheal tubes branching continually like a tree until their finest divisions, tracheoles, are associated with each cell, allowing gaseous oxygen to dissolve in the cytoplasm lying across the fine cuticle lining of the tracheole. CO2 diffuses out of the cell into the tracheole.

While cockroaches do not have lungs and thus do not actively breathe in the vertebrate lung manner, in some very large species the body musculature may contract rhythmically to forcibly move air out and in the spiracles; this may be considered a form of breathing.

The US-Al Qaeda Alliance: Bosnia, Kosovo and Now Libya. Washington’s On-Going Collusion with Terrorists

........But there have been other interventions in which Americans have used al-Qaeda as a resource to increase their influence, for example Azerbaijan in 1993. There a pro-Moscow president was ousted after large numbers of Arab and other foreign mujahedin veterans were secretly imported from Afghanistan, on an airline hastily organized by three former veterans of the CIA’s airline Air America. (The three, all once detailed from the Pentagon to the CIA, were Richard Secord, Harry Aderholt, and Ed Dearborn.)2 This was an ad hoc marriage of convenience: the mujahedin got to defend Muslims against Russian influence in the enclave of Nagorno-Karabakh, while the Americans got a new president who opened up the oilfields of Baku to western oil companies........

......Meanwhile in 1994 the French intellectual Bernard-Henri Lévy (BHL) traveled to Bosnia and fervently endorsed the case for intervention in Bosnia; in 2011 February BHL traveled to Benghazi and reprised his interventionist role for Libya.......

............Americans and Europeans are still less likely to learn from their media that among the groups in the Benghazi transitional coalition, certainly the most battle-seasoned, are veterans of the Al-Jama'a al-Islamiyyah al-Muqatilah bi-Libya (Libyan Islamic Fighting Group, or LIFG). The importance of the LIFG contingent in the TNC has been downplayed in a recent issue of the International Business Times:

The LIFG is a radical Islamic group which has been fighting small scale guerrilla warfare against Gaddafi for almost a decade. Much of the LIFG leadership came from soldiers who fought against the Soviet forces in Afghanistan, as part of the Mujahedeen. Since the beginning of the uprising reports said that some of the LIFG has joined the TNC rebel movement on the ground, and many accused the fighters of having links to Al-Qaeda, which the LIFG has since denied.

Previously however, the LIFG had stated that its ultimate goal is to install an Islamic state inside Libya, which given the fact that many of its fighters are now on the side of the TNC is quite worrying. However as the LIFG is reported to have a fighting force of no more than a few thousand men, it is believed it will not be able to cause much trouble within the opposition.17

It remains to be seen whether a victorious TNC would be able to contain the Islamist aspirations of the ruthless jihadist veterans in their ranks.

There are those who fear that, from their years of combat in Afghanistan and Iraq, the battle-hardened LIFG, although probably not dominant in the Benghazi coalition today, will come to enjoy more influence if Benghazi ever gets to distribute the spoils of victory. In February 2004, then-Director of Central Intelligence George Tenet testified before the Senate Intelligence Committee that "one of the most immediate threats [to U.S. security in Iraq] is from smaller international Sunni extremist groups that have benefited from al-Qaida links. They include ... the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group."18 In 2007 a West Point study reported on “the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group's (LIFG) increasingly cooperative relationship with al-Qaeda, which culminated in the LIFG officially joining al-Qaeda on November 3, 2007."19....

......Although Britain and the US were well aware of the West Point assessment of the hard-core LIFG in the Benghazi TNC coalition, their special forces nevertheless secretly backed the Benghazi TNC, even before the launch of NATO air support:

The bombing of the country came as it was revealed that hundreds of British special forces troops have been deployed deep inside Libya targeting Colonel Gaddafi’s forces – and more are on standby....

In total it is understood that just under 250 UK special forces soldiers and their support have been in Libya since before the launch of air strikes to enforce the no-fly zone against Gaddafi’s forces.20

There are also reports that U.S. Special Forces were also sent into Libya on February 23 and 24, 2011, almost a month before the commencement of NATO bombing.21

UK support for the fundamentalist LIFG was in fact at least a decade old:

Fierce clashes between [Qadhafi's] security forces and Islamist guerrillas erupted in Benghazi in September 1995, leaving dozens killed on both sides. After weeks of intense fighting, the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG) formally declared its existence in a communiqué calling Qadhafi's government "an apostate regime that has blasphemed against the faith of God Almighty" and declaring its overthrow to be "the foremost duty after faith in God." This and future LIFG communiqués were issued by Libyan Afghans who had been granted political asylum in Britain.... The involvement of the British government in the LIFG campaign against Qadhafi remains the subject of immense controversy. LIFG's next big operation, a failed attempt to assassinate Qadhafi in February 1996 that killed several of his bodyguards, was later said to have been financed by British intelligence to the tune of $160,000, according to ex-MI5 officer David Shayler.22

David Shayler’s detailed account has been challenged, but many other sources reveal that UK support for Libyan jihadists long antedates the present conflict.23

Even more ominous for the future than the nationalistic LIFG may be the fighters from the more internationalist Al Qaeda in the Maghreb (AQIM) who have seized the opportunity presented by the war to enter the conflict, and equip themselves from Gaddafi’s looted armories.24 AQIM presents a special concern because of recent reports that, like other al Qaeda associates from Afghanistan to Kosovo, it is increasingly financed by payoffs from regional drug traffickers.25

In short, the NATO campaign in Libya is in support of a coalition in which the future status of present and former al-Qaeda allies is likely to be strengthened.26 And western forces have been secretly supporting them from the outset......

Nuclear Weapons US

www.globalresearch.ca/index.php?context=va&aid=24049

The B61-11 earth-penetrating weapon with a nuclear warhead
The Department of Defense had developed a new generation of bunker buster tactical nuclear weapons for use in the Middle East and Central Asia:

"Military officials and leaders of America's nuclear weapon laboratories [had] urged the US to develop a new generation of precision low-yield nuclear weapons... which could be used in conventional conflicts with third-world nations." (Federation of American Scientists, 2001, emphasis added)

The B61-11 can penetrate and detonate below the earth's surface, creating a massive shock wave capable of destroying underground targets. In tests the bomb penetrates only 20 feet into dry earth, even when dropped from altitudes above 40,000 feet. But even this shallow penetration before detonation allows a much higher proportion of the explosion to transferred into ground shock relative to a surface burst. It is not able to counter targets deeply buried under granite rock. Moreover, it has a high yield, in the hundreds of kilotons. If used in North Korea, the radioactive fallout could drift over nearby countries such as Japan.

Five months after [Assistant Defense Secretary] Harold Smith called for an acceleration of the B61-11 production schedule, he went public with an assertion that the Air Force would use the B61-11 [nuclear weapon] against Libya's alleged underground chemical weapons plant at Tarhunah if the President decided that the plant had to be destroyed. "We could not take [Tarhunah] out of commission using strictly conventional weapons," Smith told the Associated Press. The B61-11 "would be the nuclear weapon of choice," he told Jane's Defence Weekly.

Smith gave the statement during a breakfast interview with reporters after Defense Secretary William Perry had earlier told a Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing on chemical or biological weapons that the U.S. retained the option of using nuclear weapons against countries armed with chemical and biological weapons. Nukes and Mini-Nukes: Iraq and Afghanistan

The US military contends that "mini-nukes" are "humanitarian bombs" which minimize "collateral damage". According to scientific opinion on contract to the Pentagon, they are "harmless to the surrounding civilian population because the explosion is underground",

The B61-11 is a bon fide thermonuclear bomb, a Weapon of Mass Destruction (WMD) in the real sense of the word.

Military documents distinguish between the Nuclear Earth Penetrator (NEP) and the "mini-nuke", which are nuclear weapons with a yield of less than 10 kilotons (two-thirds of a Hiroshima bomb). The NEP can have a yield of up to a 1000 kilotons, or seventy times a Hiroshima bomb.

This distinction between mini-nukes and the NEP is in many regards misleading. In practice there is no dividing line. We are broadly dealing with the same type of weaponry: the B61-11 has several "available yields", ranging from "low yields" of less than one kiloton, to mid-range, and up to the 1000 kiloton bomb.

In all cases, the radioactive fallout is devastating. Moreover, the B61 series of thermonuclear weapons includes several models with distinct specifications: the B61-11, the B61-3, B61- 4, B61-7 and B61-10. Each of these bombs has several "available yields".

What is contemplated for theater use is the "low yield" 10 kt bomb, two-thirds of a Hiroshima bomb.

Tony Blair

The moral authority of the West is rapidly collapsing. When Russia, Asia, and South America look at Europe, Australia and Canada, they see American puppet states that contribute troops to the aggressive wars of the Empire. The French president, the British prime minister, the “president” of Georgia, and the rest are merely functionaries of the American Empire. The puppet rulers routinely sell out the interests and welfare of their peoples in behalf of American hegemony. And they are well rewarded for their service. One year out of office former British prime minister Tony Blair had a net worth of $30 million.

Chernobyl disaster

"It concludes that based on records now available, some 985,000 people died, mainly of cancer, as a result of the Chernobyl accident. That is between when the accident occurred in 1986 and 2004. More deaths, it projects, will follow."

Iraq Oil Deals

The following are the signed deals, listed in order of the size of the reservoirs involved, and others still in the works:

* RUMAILA

Britain's BP Plc (BP.L) and China's CNPC signed the first major post-U.S. invasion oil deal in November for supergiant Rumaila field, with estimated reserves of 17 billion barrels. The two companies aim to boost production to 2.85 million bpd from around 1.066 million bpd currently, and have accepted a remuneration fee of $2 per barrel.

BP said it would invest around $15 billion. BP has a 38 percent stake and its partner CNPC has 37 percent while Iraq holds 25 percent.

* WEST QURNA PHASE TWO

Russian energy giant Lukoil (LKOH.MM) and Norway's Statoil (STL.OL) sealed a deal for the supergiant, 12.9-billion-barrel oilfield in Iraq's south on Jan. 31. The partners agreed a remuneration fee of $1.15 per barrel and pledged to take production to a plateau of 1.8 million bpd.

Iraq holds a 25 percent stake, Lukoil 56.25 percent and Statoil 18.75 percent. Statoil has said it would invest $1.4 billion over 4-5 years. Lukoil put total investment at more than $30 billion. The firms would start recovering costs when output reaches 120,000 bpd.

* MAJNOON

The massive 12.6-billion-barrel Majnoon oilfield was taken by Royal Dutch Shell (RDSa.L), Europe's largest oil company, and Malaysia's Petronas [PETR.UL], which inked the final pact on Jan. 17. Shell officials have said the firms would invest "tens of billions" of dollars.

Shell has a 45 percent share, with partner Petronas holding 30 percent and Iraq 25 percent. The firms will receive a remuneration fee of $1.39 per barrel for boosting output to a plateau production target of 1.8 million bpd from current output of just under 50,000 bpd. Firms can start recovering costs once output hits 175,000 bpd.

* WEST QURNA PHASE ONE

West Qurna Phase One found no bidders in the first auction, but a subsequent competition behind closed doors led to a deal with Exxon Mobil (XOM.N) and Shell. The companies inked the final pact on Jan. 25.

The field has reserves of 8.7 billion barrels. The consortium aims to boost output to 2.325 million bpd after setting baseline production at 244,000 bpd. [ID:nRAS832007]

The group accepted a fee of $1.90 per barrel. Exxon has a 60 percent interest in the consortium, with Iraq holding 25 percent and Shell the remainder. An Exxon executive said on July 19 that the group aims to raise production by 10 percent by the end of the first quarter of 2011.

* HALFAYA

China National Petroleum Company (CNPC), France's Total (TOTF.PA) and Petronas clinched the final contract for Halfaya on Jan. 27, with a fee of $1.40 per barrel and a plateau production target of 535,000 bpd from a current 3,100 bpd.

Total holds an 18.75 percent interest in the consortium, and CNPC with 37.5 percent, Petronas 18.75 percent and Iraq 25 percent. Halfaya, situated in southern Iraq, has estimated reserves of 4.1 billion barrels of oil. The firms would start recovering costs when output hits 70,000 bpd.

On April 22, Total said it is considering a bigger stake in the Halfaya oilfield. [ID:nLDE63L107]

* ZUBAIR

Italy's Eni (ENI.MI) sealed the final contract with Iraq on Jan. 22 for the 4-billion-barrel Zubair oilfield. Eni and partners, U.S.-based Occidental Petroleum Corp (OXY.N) and KOGAS, set an output target of 1.2 million bpd. The group agreed with Iraq to set the baseline production level at 183,000 bpd. [ID:nRAS832007]

The consortium planned to invest over $20 billion and accepted a remuneration fee of $2 a barrel. Eni has a 32.81 percent stake, Oxy 23.44 percent, KOGAS 18.75 percent and Iraq's Missan Oil Company 25 percent.

* MAYSAN

Iraq signed a final deal on May 17 with China's CNOOC (0883.HK) and state-run Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TPAO) for a service contract for the 2.5- billion-barrel, three-oilfield Maysan complex.

The fields were offered in the first auction of oilfield contracts but not awarded. According to Iraqi officials, CNOOC accepted the proposed remuneration fee of $2.30 for every additional barrel of oil produced, compared with more than $20 per barrel it and its old partner China's Sinochem -- which pulled out of the deal -- had originally sought.

CNOOC and TPAO set a plateau target for the oilfields at 450,000 bpd after six years. CNOOC said it will hold a 63.75 percent stake in the venture while TPAO holds 11.25 percent. Maysan comprises three fields -- Bazargan, Abu Gharab and Fakka in southern Maysan province.

* AL-AHDAB

CNPC started work last March on the al-Ahdab oilfield in southeastern Wasit province after successfully renegotiating an old development deal that dated back to Saddam Hussein's government.

CNPC hopes to pump 110,000-130,000 bpd from the field, which has estimated reserves of 1 billion barrels.

* GHARAF

A smaller oilfield with 900 million in reserves, Gharaf was won by Petronas and the Japan Petroleum Exploration Co (Japex) (1662.T) in a fierce competition in the second bidding round, and the deal was signed on Jan. 18.

Petronas will hold 45 percent, Japex 40 percent and Iraq 25 percent, and will receive a fee of $1.49 per barrel. Gharaf has a production target of 230,000 bpd. The consortium expects to invest $7-$8 billion. The firms can start recovering costs once output reaches 35,000 bpd
